Mayon Skyline View Deck also known as Mayon Rest house is a place halfway close to Mayon Volcano at an altitude of 2700 feet. This is one of the primary tourist attractions you should visit in Albay.  A must visit place because of the the view, the cool breeze and the wonderful experience of getting up close to Mayon Volcano. It is an excellent summer resort with almost similar temperature to Baguio and Tagaytay. It is popularly known as “heaven on earth” because of hanging clouds and peasant climate where cool and invigorating air could be experienced. From this height you can see the panoramic view of Pacific Ocean and the different town, lakes, villagers, fields and other mountains like Mt. Masagara and Mt. Malinao

It was formerly known as the Mayon Skyline Hotel, the establishment was been shut down due to the unpredictability of Mayon Volcano. Now, it is being preserve by the local government of the Tabaco City. The place is being improved by adding the planetarium, zipline and the wall climbing facilities known as the Mayon Planetarium and Sciences.

During Holy Week, the skyline is packed by people not only those with private vehicles but most of the visitors trek uphill as an observance to Lenten Season. e to Lenten Season.

    

                      The Mayon Planetarium, were you can see the documentary about Mayon Volcano,                               the story of Daragang Magayon and the tourism campaign video of Tabaco City.

The Gazebo. were you can have a picnic with your family and enjoy the perfect view of Pacific Ocean.

 How to Get There:

From Manila, ride a bus heading to Legazpi City in Albay. Board down in Legazpi Grand Terminal and transfer to a jeepney or van heading to Tabaco City. Sad to say that there is no public transportation going up to skyline. You may rent a jeepney or van to get there or you may bring your own car. But if you are an adventurous type, you can hike coming from the turnout point in Barangay Buang at estimated time of three hours.
